- Technical Lead for the NSIPS Operational Environment.
- Developed Automated Migration software for the Quarterly deployment of more than 700 Government Directed Software changes.
- Designed and implemented the entire NSIPS technical environment at five different data centers as a result of two natural disasters.
- Served as the Primary technician and lead for the successful COOP of NSIPS from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and from Millington, TN after the 2010 flood.
- Successfully COOPed after both disasters with No loss of data and less than 24 hours of service.
- Installed, configured and activated Oracle’s technology stack on multiple occasions.
- Provided technical direction to the Government and Lockheed Martin to minimize the purchase and use of software products and versions. This has led to a maintainable technology stack from a very small number of vendors and no more than two versions deployed at any given time.
- Designed an architecture for the new Norfolk data center whereby software will be deployed on EMC’s proprietary NFS environment. This design will lead to a standardized implementation that will provide reduced maintenance costs for installation, operation and maintenance.
- Led the effort to standardize the application of DISA STIG’s.
